Just found this incredibly cute book nook tucked into a stair landing. What a great idea - I am now rethinking my front staircase... Although in reality this is too cutesy for us - but perhaps there is some way to make it exotic and a little mysterious...
You can totally make it a little exotic with fabulous textiles! I read in my book nook like that constantly:-) Congratulations on the house -- it looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou are right Maryam - Turkoman tassels hanging down, a Moravian star above, some plush cushions and it'd be fabulous! I bet your reading nook is incredible - your home is quite inspiring. Living in one big "before" picture gets tiring - I look through photos of gorgeous houses like yours for an escape - thank you!
ReplyDeleteFunny- I went to a meeting last week at a house in Broken Top and they had a book nook too- way too country for me but I was dreaming of putting a cool one in here too... I am sure you are just the person to do it the right way!
